Just realised that the towers in my header photo are no longer. How sad is that - a part of my life landscape - gone. Maybe I will have to take another photo at the same location without the towers taking up their mighty position. Will it be the same?
It looks mighty strange - like Ground Zero...there are 2 narrow towers though which stand out now and of course you can see the actual power station building! Ash and I were joking that they should build a mall and call it Panga mall - so that is combining Pinelands, Athlone and Langa (lol) In true S.A style the bloody thing went off before the time (we're either late or early) so a whole lot of people missed it! we didn't actually go...shame I think we are missing the World cup so anything that gathers people is likely to draw a crowd! love Des
